Terms
The plain rules for using Malai. By using it, you agree to them.
Last updated 5 November 2026.
Who runs it
Malai is run by Anirudh Goel, an individual based in India. Contact: hello@anirudhgoel.xyz.
What Malai is
Malai reads bank texts and statements on your device and organises them. It isn’t a bank, a payment service, an adviser or a lender, it doesn’t move money, and it isn’t connected to any bank or card company.
It isn’t financial advice
Nothing in Malai is financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Budgets, insights and suggestions are arithmetic on your own data. Decide for yourself, and ask a qualified person when it matters.
Provided as it is
Malai is free and comes as it is, with no promise that it’s always right, always available or fit for any purpose. Reading bank texts and statements involves guesswork: amounts, names and tags can be wrong or missing. Check against your bank’s own records before you rely on a figure.
Your data is your responsibility
Your data exists only on your device, so nobody else can restore it. If you lose your phone, clear your browser or forget a backup password, it may be gone for good. Keep backups.
Only load texts and statements you have the right to use.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Anirudh Goel isn’t liable for any loss that comes from using Malai or from relying on what it shows, including lost data and financial decisions. Rights you have under Indian law that can’t be excluded stay with you.
Names and logos
Bank and merchant names and logos belong to their owners. They appear so you can recognise your own accounts and payments, and don’t mean those companies have anything to do with Malai.
Changes
These terms can change, and the date above will change with them. Malai may also change or stop. Because your data is on your device, you can keep using what you have and export it at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
